What an amazing weekend (that has been elongated by snow days!)! There is nothing like a day totally dedicated to LOVE to make you feel all warm and squishy inside. I spent a wonderful Valentine’s Day surrounded by my greatest loves – my family. They are my whole world. My wonderful husband, our amazing daughter, and our sweet puppy make my life complete.

It’s funny how the term “love” gets thrown around so easily. I do it all the time! I LOVE chocolate. I LOVE my camera. I LOVE the Walking Dead. I LOVE autumn. I LOVE when I find a dollar in the washing machine. But, really those things don’t hold a candle to what truly matters; family, friends, life. It’s so easy to take for granted those who make our heart want to burst out of our chest when we think about how much they mean to us. So this weekend I wanted pause and simply feel the love that carries me through life. It was a wonderful perspective (then I ate chocolate).
