It was in February of 2019 when Eileen and Steve married. The weather was chilly, windy, and the fog laid heavy across the D.C skyline. It was a perfect day!
We had planned ahead of time to do the first look at the National Portrait Gallery and the backdrop suited them perfectly. A favorite moment of mine happened right in front of Steve’s favorite painting, “Among the Sierra Nevada, California” by Albert Bierstadt. It was a beautiful, quiet moment and one that I knew they would treasure due to the special meaning of the painting.
As the wedding turned into a party, the dance floor lit up and the energy and fun was undeniable! I have to say that as a photographer, this is my favorite part of the wedding. There is this relaxed atmosphere, where fun rains supreme and personality is exploding from every corner! It is always the perfect end to a day of excitement and anticipation. Thank you again to Eileen and Steve for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing day!
